Shock Tech VAB Series

DESCRIPTION


The VAB series of isolators are medium to low-frequency, bonded inner plate mount assemblies.  The bonded inner plate and geometric symmetry makes for goof proof installations and longer service life.  All mounts in the series perform high levels of vibration isolation >30Hz at rated loads of 40 to 4,560 pounds (18Kg to 2,068Kg).  VAB series mounts are excellent for use in internal combustion engine installations as the primary mount.  They are also a good selection for electric motors where directly or indirectly attached accessory imbalance is present as seen with piston compressors and pumps.  Standard mount geometry throughout the series and compatibility with Shock Tech RB1-5 and VABB Bushing Mounts makes for easy mount and performance upgrade when payload changes in mission or load.

Self-Captivating and Fail-Safe Capability for 30G, 11Millisecond, Half Sine Shock Crash Safety Load is

Achieved with Additional Snubbing Washer(s).

Loose preload tube length can be adjusted to suit non-standard structure thickness.

Bonded radial spacer on pre-load tube option is available for fine tuning if radial stiffness and radial soft snub dimension.
