DESCRIPTION

The RB series of isolators are medium to low-frequency, bonded bushing mount assemblies.  All mounts in the series perform high levels of vibration isolation >30Hz at rated loads of 40 to 4,560 pounds (18Kg to 2,068Kg).  RB series mounts are excellent for use in internal combustion engine installations as the primary mount.  They are also a good selection for electric motors where directly or indirectly attached accessory imbalance is present as seen with piston compressors and pumps.  Standard mount geometry throughout the series and compatibility with similar mounts makes for easy mount and performance upgrade when payload changes in mission or load.

Series Overall Geometry and Installation Geometry is Consistent with VAB and VABB Bushing Mounts from Shock Tech.

Core Geometry is Un-Threaded Through Hole Configuration.  (Other Core Geometries are Available on Request.  Consult with Shock Tech Engineering).

Base (Axial-Compression) or Bulkhead (Radial-Shear) Mounting Geometry is Possible (Consult with Shock Tech Engineering for Radial-Shear Applications).

Self-Captivating and Fail-Safe Capability for 30G, 11Millisecond, Half Sine Shock Crash Safety Load is Achieved with Additional Snubbing Washer(s).
