Solutions for Shock,
Vibration & Noise Control |
|
|
This page will provide
links to the basics of vibration isolation, shock attenuation,
and structureborne noise attenuation as applicable to passive
resilient mounting systems. SHOCK TECH thanks the family of
the late Charles E. Crede, former Professor
of Mechanical Engineering at California Institute of Technology for
permission to use materials directly from his book 'Vibration and
Shock Isolation' for this educational section of our site.
Professor Crede's works include some of the most practical and
useful tools we know of for solving isolation and attenuation
problems. Shock Tech engineers regularly reference the methods
and formulas found in his book as they are still current many
decades after publication. |
